Local initiatives in the UK are bringing about the concept of 'Transition Towns' as a response to Climate Change and Peak Oil. The idea is to relocalise towns so that the economy no longer depends on oil or globalisation. This is a fantastic grass roots idea that every one of us needs to support and get involved in.
